December 2017 Tarotscopes

#writerstarot

by Leenna

Happy Holidays! Can you believe it’s the end of 2017 already? Where did the year go? There’s lots to do before we say goodbye to 2017, plus lots of love! There’s a short travel peek, too. If you have a minute to spare, I’d appreciate it if you could take the poll at the end of the post. And where-ever and however you’re travelling, safe journeys and happiness to you 😀

* for entertainment purposes.

Sagittarius

There’s a hint of glee in your smile this month. But avoid those karaokes.

December begins like an old train: stop, start, stop, start, jerk, jerk, race off, but it’s mostly at work. Brace yourself then go with the momentum. A new-comer may be plotting to steal your lime-light, too, so keep your eyes and ears open for some tell-tales and juicy gossip. At home, you may be busy with some scissors, pruning some plants, or artfully arranging furniture, so no-one can ruin your holiday atmosphere. But do remember, little boys and puppies seldom understand holiday rules… You may have to arrange/rearrange more than once.

Mid-December is all about hard work, clearing the air and reaping the rewards. Karma’s hanging around, so you’ll get only as good as you’ve given. Taureans will prove good friends, while other fire signs may allow you more talk-time, if only because they’re away. You may bond with a new friend and discover a love for the same food combination.

The year comes to an end on an interesting note. Destiny flips you a chance, so heads-up and try not to fumble it. Going easy on the alcohol will help you field this chance, especially if it’s got to do with your creativity, or you winning back ‘the one that got away’. You should be happy and on top of the world, if a little dizzy, come New Year’s Eve. Hang on to that feeling, but remember all you learned about limits this year.

Travel:
It’s all about balance this year-end. You may set off later than usual on your journey and travel mostly at night or in the early morning. Ensure you rest well and remain alert. Some light exercise at rest-stops may help keep the balance, as will regular good meals. Flights may have additional or changed security protocols, so remain patient if there are delays. You biggest travel bonuses will come from seeing the skies as you’ve never seen them before. Have your camera ready where possible.

Capricorn

You may think you’re coming undone this month, but it all ends sunny-side up!

The month begins with a shrug and a ‘I don’t know’ to whatever question is uppermost on your mind. Truth be told, the answer can wait till the new year. Now’s the time to get out of the kitchen (or office) and put your feet up. You’ve earned it. You know you’re done with the worst and the rest should be plain (or plainer) sailing. Holiday bargains only come to you when you’re well relaxed and not even looking…may be at weekend pop-up stores or fleamarkets.

Mid-December may be the most stressful for you when you may find a dream or hope stretch further away. It may feel like a betrayal from work or your education provider. You may want to look into other options or explore some of your hidden talents (no ninja knives please!) especially in arts and crafts. Making your own holiday goodies may be the best fun, especially with your favourite talk-show on.

December comes to an end on a happy, successful note, despite some travel delays or no travel at all. Happiness and joy will find you and stick like toffee, especially through communication. You may start a blog or join another community. You’ll also be de-cluttering and sprucing up, all ready to face the new year. Taking stock, your greatest holiday gift will be realising how much you’ve achieved and which path to take next.

Travel:
For those who are travelling, it may be very short journeys, or ones which go much quicker than expected. There’s a carefree sense with little stress. You may go to a spa or on a spiritual retreat, but this year, there’s no place like home for you 🙂 You may also volunteer to help animals, perhaps at your local shelter or at the local zoo/animal/bird sanctuary.

Aquarius

With a devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other, keeping your balance may prove very interesting.

The month begins with a delay, perhaps in your leave, or having to redo an exam or other task. You’ll learn something new in the process, and the outcome looks better than expected. A Taurean or Capricorn may help you, or reward you. But applications for loans, or extensions on credit, may not go so well, so hang on to your cash and go easy with your cards.

Mid-month may seem unfair with all the work you’re putting in. Difficulties with transport (reduced services or carpooling not possible) may also further frustrate you. Take a deep breath, you’ve got this. And if your employment contract changes, know something better will arrive real soon.

The year winds to an end on a higher note. You’ll be feeling more secure (all that hard work paid off) and new opportunities may present themselves. Spiritual messages may reach you, and you may have to find a balance in love and life. For those of you looking for love, things look very good for both long-term and/or a very hot relationship. But with that little devil tempting you, you may want to go easy on the chocolates and other goodies, or it will be the gym for you on January 2.

Travel:
If travelling abroad, you’ll want to double-check your visas and other legal documents, including money allowances for the country/countries you’re travelling to. At home on the freeways and highways, you’ll want to keep to the speed-limits and other rules, or pay a hefty fine or worse. Take care in wet/icy weather and remember speed is not your friend—whether behind the wheel or on your feet. Slower and steadier make for stress-free travels for you.

Pisces

Everything’s fast moving, especially when it comes to love and family.

December begins at a break-neck speed. You may go on an impulsive trip, or take your vacation earlier than anticipated, leaving bookings for the last minute. Flights work out better than you think, and you’ll have a good time in more luxurious circumstances, too, But do watch our for purse-snatchers and other nefarious types, especially in crowded areas.

Mid-December brings family issues into focus and perhaps some harsh words. You may have to rethink your role in the family and how you communicate. Are you serving everyone else’s needs and expectations except your own? While gifts for your wardrobe may help smooth your ruffled feelings, don’t allow them to cloud the issues. Have a talk with your grandma.

The year ends on an emotional note. Love is offered, but you may choose to walk away or ask for more space. New love comes flying in for singles, but this too, may not suit your mood. Truth be told, you’re enjoying having choices and are reluctant to make one. You’d like to flex your independence muscles next year and you’re just getting started. Make your decisions carefully and you could still have your cake and eat it too.

Travel:
Countrysides and ancient places should make great getaways if you’re short of ideas for your last minute trip. Allow extra time for delays on the way back, and make sure your phone is set to go too. Don’t forget your charger and any adapters you may need. Disconnecting from the internet may also enhance your holiday experience, especially if you’re on a staycation later in the month.

Aries

Crossed brooms! Someone tries to sweep you off your feet while you’re attempting the same to them:-D Time to take up Curling, maybe?

December begins with a meeting of the minds, or of the hearts, or of both. Reunions may also be a feature, especially at themed parties (‘80s, ‘50s and the like). Singles aren’t likely to remain so for long, while couples will find more time to spend together, or another new beginning. With all this going on, the dishes may not get done, or the old washer-machine may need replacing. Fortunately, money flows in around this time too.

Mid-December may see you back in an old seat—an old car, an old job, an old airline (let’s hope not)—which may bring some excitement. With less bickering and leaving all the emotional baggage aside/behind, you’ll make good headway towards achieving your current financial goals. Even so, it may all prove quite exhausting, so let your love (new love) know you may be a little scarce, at least for now.

The year comes to a close with you seeming to burn the candles at both ends. Again, watch out for exhaustion, be prepared to turn off all the lights and (if you’re lucky) wave at Santa, as you may pull a couple of all-nighters or take on a night-shift. All your hard-work sees returns, and some fun, with some new friends made through those long nights. Generosity flows as the year ends, perhaps with another party for you to woo your new love.

Travel:
It may be difficult for you to get away for the holidays just now. Leave may be delayed or cancelled unexpectedly, so rather leave your schedule free and flexible where you can. Shorter trips (within 5 hours of home) may suit you best, but be sure to leave while the light is still good as driving in the dark (especially in the north) may prove challenging and even more exhausting. Wait till late January to take your vacation and snag those post-holiday specials.

Taurus

Is this the time of year to go all emo? Not if you’re planning on opening the door to Lady Luck.

The month begins on a good note. You’ll be able to wash away some of the stresses of the year. Let go the emotional gunk, too, and try avoiding too much alcohol—blurry eyes see not the point which hurts them… De-cluttering and voluntary work will also give you much joy.

Mid-December may call for some sensitive juggling of your parents’ needs, or those of yours and your partner’s. Long-festering parental and/or love issues could explode over an otherwise mild dinner. Work may also be demanding because of a boss or client with a lack of family values/sensibilities, especially so if you’re in advertising or IT. Take a deep breath and count to December 27.

The year winds down with much fun and games. Inquisitive kids, or those with curious minds, could have you in hysterics, even from across the world. While you may choose to take a week of pajama days, be sure to try your luck at something new for the last two days of the year—cooking, baking, building houses of cards, starting your own Youtube channel with your alter-ego…Whatever takes your fancy will bring you to your destiny next year.

Travel:
If you can get away this month, Taurus, please do. Travel brings love, family resolutions and better health for you. Maybe your mother gets you back to eating muesli. Maybe your childhood sweetheart runs you over at the checkout counter. Maybe the spa/resort receptionist is the person of your dreams or the couples coach you’ve been looking for. The closer you travel to the last days of the year, the more likely you’re to be in a soul-mate relationship early next year. Plus, they’ll help you leave your family’s baggage behind; you know your arms can’t drag that any further. And yep, they can cook.

Gemini

Stay out of the kitchen, too many Masterchefs in there already. Try your hand at crafting instead.

December begins with Lady Luck throwing a tantrum and running off. Never mind, you’ve never needed that kind of luck anyway, being quite capable of making your own, thank you very much! Besides, there’s a good friend (or your mother) to help you mend the damage, though she/they insist on telling you what to do. Take a few hints and apply them creatively.

Mid-month finds you contemplating second chances after a long, long party (or meeting). With two opportunities to not-quite-begin-over you’ll have much to weigh, including a new financial aspect. Headaches and dehydration may make you a little cranky, so carry a bottle of water or leave it handy at your desk. Go easy on the sweet stuff, too, or you may have to visit the dentist again.

The year comes to an end on a high note. You may be flying high, either in your career, or in an aeroplane. Your energy levels and optimism will also wing their way back to you on a good dose of generosity. You may be at more than one amazing party, but will be cleaning up afterwards as well.
You’ll be responsible and well grounded in your goals in the last few days of the year. Great to see you setting yourself up well for next year.

Travel:
Harmony is key to your travels this month. Ensure you’re allowing each family member or travel buddy to get the same out of the trip as you do. Travelling to spiritual places, to the sea-side, as well as meditation retreats, will regenerate your soul and body. Allow the peace you find to flow into the new year.

Cancer

Walking a tightrope brings a new perspective and more opportunities into view.

The month begins with you hard at work. There’s an element of regret if you hadn’t been clearing your schedule as dutifully as you usually do. An event, or line of gossip, may threaten to repeat some elements of love’s past. Ignore, concentrate on your tasks and don’t play the same old game. Why would you when there are happier times just up ahead.

Mid-December brings an infusion of cash, but not enough to splurge on a holiday or spoil the one you love in the way you want. Like Aries, you may be buying a major new appliance instead. Plan indoor activities for the family as the weather may not play along outdoors. Someone may be having a baby (or starting a new project) but they’re keeping it under wraps for now. If you get wind of their secret, remember it’s a secret for a reason, and avoid the dreaded foot-in-mouth.

The year ends with you still hard at work. Energy levels may be a challenge to keep up. Strive for balance in diet and in your activities and watch those new opportunities you’re working on blossom. Love and work, especially, seem equally high on your priorities. Don’t overburden yourself with lavish gestures or dos. Keep things simple and light these holidays, especially when it comes to family, and reap a greater harmony in your home to see the new year in.

Travel:
You may want to avoid the beach, or places with very spicy food. Your sense of adventure may be a little dormant along with your energy levels, so stick to the known and trusted to help you relax. You may find things a little chaotic, especially if you’re travelling to desert areas. No matter where you’re travelling, ensure you have extra drinking water, a few snacks and extra time to reach your destination. And if you’re travelling abroad with a baby, you may want to carry extra diapers.

Leo

You may be feeling boxed in by tradition. Time to try something new?

The month begins with family at the forefront. You may feel a little moody (or be dealing with a moody water sign) over something new which is slow to start. If it’s making you kick your heels at work, you may want to ask for some early leave. Business talks may not go so well unless you’re able to articulate the delicate intricacies to laypersons. Use small words.

Mid-December, you’ll be feeling like the King/Queen of Your Castle at home but with work demanding your attention, you may have to think out the box to free up more time for family, friends, and yourself. While you may be tempted to stay glued to the screen on the weekends, going outside and doing something fun/challenging will invigorate you and get those braincells working again.

December winds down with a breather and some legal documents to sign. If it’s a new car you’re buying, you may have your delivery delayed, as with other electrical goods you’ve bought online. Important decisions will have to be delayed till the new year, so why not chill and enjoy the family visits. Kids grow up so fast, even the screaming ones who challenge your royal authority. Though this may seem like the most stressful time of year for you, whatever you’re waiting on turns out well in the new year.

Travels:
Whatever holiday you’re taking, it’s going to feel too short. Whatever journey you’re taking is going to feel too long. Camping may seem a good option this year, until it’s not. With your focus on work and your comfort at home, you may want to delay your vacation or travels this month, until next month when you’re less stressed and more sure of yourself. Enjoy your castle instead.

Virgo

Ooh-la-la, Virgo! You have romance, and more than one soul-mate vying for your attention.

December begins with an old flame riding back into your life. They’re bringing a heady mix of emotions to your day, and you may even let them sweep you off your feet. But first you’ll wait and see what their intentions really are. For the most part, and in most things, you’ll keep your balance and your cool.

Mid-December finds you happy and content with most things in life. If anyone’s trying to rush you into anything, you haven’t noticed (or pretend so). Your social life (and media) is booming, both with romance and with job opportunities. A lunch meet-up may find you reuniting with some old friends, and a rival to your old flame. You’ve never felt so in demand, romantically. Couples will be spending more time on new adventures in travel, or new ways of living.

The month comes to an end with an even stronger connection to your soul-mate, and for some a whisper of a proposal. Couples will have the most romantic time, especially away from home, getting to know each other again, while singles will have their choice of three to consider. Your partner will know just how to spoil you in the most delightful ways, making for a wonderfully fun and romantic year end.

Travel:
A little bit of luxury goes a long way at this time. Consider upgrading in advance and explore options you haven’t considered before—a rental instead of a resort, a B&B instead of a hotel. Places with dolphins (real or marble) will make you happy, but not as much as knowing all that planning and preparation went off without a hitch. Add a museum or a short course or two, and you’ll have one of your most memorable trips ever.

Libra

Hold on to those scales—not for your weight, but for all the decisions you have to make.

The month begins with with three opportunities returning, but which one to follow? There’ll be little time to research or gather opinions as these windows may slam shut if you delay too long. With someone sneaking in to distract you, you’ll have to hang on tight to your focus and make those decisions.

Mid-December brings a sigh of relief that a decision has been made—one you can realistically follow. But self-doubt may rear it’s ugly head, distracting you further and making you second-guess yourself. Allow your creative side to reign to get your perspective back. An old love may try a new tactic to win you over, either at work or online.

The year ends in a social whirl. Cupid’s out to get you if you’re single, or your partner may woo you in unexpected ways. Work inspires love, or vice versa, as you get the best of both worlds. Anything seems possible come new year’s eve. Wish well for you may get it all early in the new year.

Travel:
Any place with a festival, or a beach, will be perfect for you if you haven’t made a booking yet. You’ll look great and attract lots of attention from scores of admirers. Art classes or other creative courses combined with a beautiful location will inspire and revitalise you. Don’t over-pack though, as most of what you’ll need or use can be bought locally. And if it doesn’t fit into one case, do you really want to pay extra to cart it all home? Take only the most inspired back with you. Take your notebook, camera or sketchbook where-ever you go.

Scorpio

Reunions reinvigorate you even as they highlight family/friendly quirks.

December begins by bringing you the gift of the gab. You’ll be able to woo anyone to your point of view or slay them with logic. Events will move satisfyingly fast, especially in love and in legal matters. At family reunions, harsh words can be overcome or stayed by charm and affection, especially when it comes to older women. Gardening will not go well.

Mid-December sees you in a playful mood, and perhaps likely to spend impulsively. Go shopping with a list and remind yourself of your recently made decisions to ensure you stay within budget. You may be likely to over-eat at this time, especially fast-food and salty snacks, Ensure you’re having enough water (energy drinks don’t count) to avoid discomfort and later lethargy.

The year winds down with you feeling content, especially with the finances and home. You may even try your hand at baking or cooking very extravagant dishes. Work will be stable, predictable and manageable, those promises you’ve made earlier will have to be kept, even on New Year’s Eve. Likewise, promises made this holidays won’t be forgotten, so hand them out sparingly as they’ll follow you into the new year and beyond.

Travel:
You have much in common with Virgo here, and you’d travel well together. Plans work out, itineraries will be followed and transport will be comfortable and luxurious. You may prefer to travel by train or ferry (especially on overnight journeys) instead of flights which are likely to be delayed for long periods in the far north and far south. Music will be important for this trip, so you may want to update your personal playlist, or perhaps you’ll buy a musical instrument, or even be inspired to learn a new instrument by the time you get back home.

Wishing you a happy, safe month, and much love and joy!

PS: Your Tarotscope 2018 is out on pre-order on iTunes, B&N, Smashwords and most eBook stores. It will be available in February 2018 with the birthday 2018 to birthday 2019 challenges section.

Tarotscopes March 2017-Bumper Ed!

#writerstarot

by Leenna

I didn’t intend to write a bumper edition. It just sort of happened when I felt drawn to include a Flower Power Card for each of you. Isha Lerner’s Power of Flower Cards adds an element of healing to this month’s tarotscopes. Some of you may work through these healings this month while others may take a few months more.

*only for entertainment purposes.

Pisces

Woohoo! March looks like a great month for your career or major projects.

The month begins with a victory! Sure there’s still a lot of work to do, but a major battle has been won, and you might want to celebrate it. Even more important to you, it seems that someone finally admits that they’re wrong about a thorny issue. And now that your sage points are acknowledged, both of you can move on.

Mid-month may find you fretting about your appearance or your creative work not being ‘good enough’. So what if your cup-cakes aren’t as professional-looking as you-know-who’s? The proof is in the tasting. And while a new wardrobe would be great, can you really give up your favourite pair of slacks just now? Hang in for a few weeks more and you’ll find a new store which carries affordable clothing more suited to your tastes.

The month-end demands you make a choice. While this may not be an easy one to make, it’s one you can’t put off for much longer. On the plus side, it’s not one that will bind you forever. Go with the flow for now, and reconsider before July if this decision is working for you or not. By July, you’ll be able to rescind the decision, or tweak it to your satisfaction.

Your Flower Power card: Manzanita (The Goddess)
This essence embodies the natural beauty and diversity of the feminine, bringing healing for your mid-month ‘not good enough’ appearance and creation blues. This card encourages you to honour your feminine energies without self-judgement. Sing, dance and create as your energies dictate. Then reap the rewards of your fertile mind and body.

Aries:

Oh dear, your Gemini/Aquarius friend is up to their tricks again. Never mind, your intuition will come to your rescue.

The month begins with calls to action from your impulsive air-sign friend or partner (or that psycho wannabe girlfriend/boyfriend). They’re demanding, insistent, and stretching your good humour and amiable grin to breaking point. Don’t let them win. Slink away, turn off your phone and don’t (whatever you do) lose your temper. Take deep breaths, long walks and seek the light while they rush into darkness. You don’t have to rescue everybody, especially when they’re doing your head in.

Mid-month is great for meditation and visiting your mother or gran. Your intuition is spot on, especially during the full moon. Your dreams may even be prophetic (so lets hope they’re all sweet) and you’ll want to watch your liquid intake, cutting back on alcohol and fizzy drinks.
If your partner is Cancerian and you’re wanting a child, you may be well on your way to being a parent or new pet owner.

March ends on a good career note. You’ll feel you’ve mastered a new skill (or yourself) and be singing your own praises (we all need to sometimes). Fortunately, people take you seriously, and your work situation should improve significantly.

Your Flower Power card: Bleeding Heart (Chiron – The Wounded Healer)
This essence speaks to your need to heal a deep wound (possibly one that pesky air-sign keeps peeling the scab off). This essence reminds you that your pain is healing, that your lessons around fear, loss and abandonment are now about done and it’s time for you to move on with an open heart and compassion. For some, a new healing relationship will begin this month (but probably not with that pesky/psycho air-sign unless they’re your spouse).

Taurus:

Dear Taurus, this doesn’t look set to be your favourite month especially if your mother is visiting, and the weather getting you down.

March begins with you needing to be careful of your knees and ankles, especially if you live where the thaw is setting in. Any falls should be checked, and proper care taken of sprains and swelling. Wear practical shoes with good traction, and hang on to your down-coat for as long as possible for the extra padding which you need more than fashion just now. If you were hoping for a holiday in better climes or for a change in residence, they might be delayed till later in April or even August. Take good care of yourself, as it’s your well-being which may be the major crimp in your plans.

Mid-month brings the blues. Avoid your friend Pisces as they’re also going through a bit of a blue-patch, and two blues don’t make a green. Journal, stay out of your head and drop down into your heart. Bake, or find things you will bake when you have the energy to do so. This issue has its roots in events from nine months ago or so. Deal with it once you’re feeling strong enough and let it go with a releasing ritual involving water, but not the icy shoreline of some waterway! Talk to your Aries friend for some fresh insight.

The month may end with a visit from your mother (or to your mother) which fills you with a little bit of dread. There may be some much needed dredging of the past (and talk about exes and hexes) but it’s all good in the end as it’s bringing up exactly what you need to release in order for you to move on with your life.

Your Flower Power Card: Mountain Pride (The Peaceful Warrior)
This essence speaks of you taking personal responsibility for yourself and your actions. It’s a call to destiny, the reason you’re are being asked to reflect on and release your past issues. While your destiny may not be known just yet, this card assures you that your path is opening and that the bountiful and benevolent universe is waiting for you to walk your talk. Once you know what your talk is, you’ll be able to walk it, no prob.

Gemini:

You knew this year is going to be especially significant, and here comes more confirmation.

March begins with you in a wonderfully strong position to act on your truest desires (so lets hope they are healthier than the junk food you’ve started eating recently). In both love and your career, you’re in an almost unassailable position. You’ll be applauded for you heroic efforts and reap all the benefits you’ve been dreaming of. If you’ve been having the odd health problem (especially of the female kind) you’ll make a swift recovery.

Mid-month may seem dreary and trudging as time seems to slow down just when you’re all antsy over a message you’re waiting on. Never fear, your bank balance is miraculously growing stronger at this time. Tediousness also shows you just where you’re tripping over yourself.

The month ends with a fabulous opportunity, but one which needs careful judgement and timing. There’s also a level of commitment called for which may be the main thing making you hesitate. A possible trip over water (the local lake or the ocean?) may also shake you out of the lassitude you’ve been fretting about. When news comes, it comes fast. You’ll be much happier with things back to breakneck speed.

Your Flower Power Card: Passion Flower (Christos, Krishna)
This essence speaks of great hardships and resurrection into greater love and compassion. This card confirms messages arriving on angels’ wings to help you cross great divides and find the compassion and love you’ve thought yourself incapable of experiencing and showing. Though you may not realise it, your compassion greatly moves others at this time.

Cancer:

The clearing out continues this month with some much needed changes.

The month begins with a shock, possibly regarding finances or love. As your perceptions change, you’ll see things for what they really are. A romantic gesture, which could possibly backfire, may also bring some much needed clarity to your love-life. Though this may seem dire at first, once the misunderstandings are cleared up, the clarity will allow for better future foundations. Violent weather may also affect your home or work place, particularly electric storms and flooding. Make sure your home insurance is up to date.

Mid-month brings up old guilt or a sense of melancholy. Someone may also be twisting your words and deeds to make themselves seem a martyr and to steal your glory. Avoid confrontation and let the truth out itself. Quiet time and some fun movies or craft-work should have you back to yourself much quicker than usual.

March ends with some delays in communication or transport. If you’ve made plans to meet up with friends, take a book or make sure your tablet is fully-charged, and remember to have your phone handy. Don’t forget to take a sweater. You’ll be feeling the chill more than usual.

Your Flower Power Card: Sunflower (The Solar King and Lunar Queen)
This essences talks of the divine will (masculine) and universal love (feminine) balancing and combining within you. It calls on you to show your strength and integrity during this time, even while remembering to be grateful and humble.

Leo:

You’ll have to balance long-term and short-term goals this month.

March begins with a conflict of interest, possibly with an Aries or your father. You’re in your stubborn phase, and so are they. You may have to call in an arbitrator or negotiator on your behalf. Don’t be too harsh on your kids or pets, and remember that iron-fists get dented easily.

Mid-month may see you having to honour your word even though you’d rather not. You’d like nothing more than to wriggle free, but events and others will hold you strictly to them. Get it over with quickly and you’ll soon feel your freedom again.

The month ends in a juggling act and some interesting footwork to maintain your balance. It will be a relief after the previous two weeks of feeling hemmed in. Your decisions made now may hold your focus for the next two years, so decide wisely.

Your Flower Power Card: Rose (Queen of Heaven, Mother of The World)
This essence speaks of accepting universal love and truth. This card marks your opening to a greater understanding of love in its many forms and expressions. If you’re experiencing heart-ache and break-up in your current relationship, it is asking you to reflect on and reconsider your expression and beliefs on love. If you’re single and searching for love, it confirms you’re manifesting the kind of love you’d like to experience next. If you’re in a stable couple, it heralds the elevation of your current relationship into a more mature and sustainable love.

Virgo

Both navel-gazing and star-gazing serve you well this month.

March begins with your need for solitude and reflection. You’d rather tinker with your soul and other fixable things than with what you’ve been dealing with socially from the end of February. You need your space, and god help anyone who tries to take that away from you just now!

Mid-month brings a release of old energies which no longer serve you. You may divorce yourself from another or give up an old habit. Whatever it is, it’s big and you’ll feel better almost immediately – more energised than you have in ages.

The month comes to end with either a difficult decision pending or the hiding of a love affair/engagement. Maybe you’ll even elope… Whatever it is, it’s big, and you won’t take too long to decide on a solution which makes you the victor/partner in this situation.

Your Flower Power Cards: Fig (Isis)
This essence speaks of the integration of your masculine and feminine into a balanced, knowledgeable whole. It helps reveal life’s mysteries to you, allowing you access to higher wisdom. You may wish to study a religion or tradition further.

Libra

Old skills, or newly mastered ones, bring you interesting new projects!

The month begins with recognition of your skills and abilities. Money flows from your creations and ability to deliver fine work. You’ll finally feel at peace with your abilities.

Mid March brings lots of exciting events which have you tumbling with joy and eager to take chances on bright new things. You might try something you’ve never done before, or fall head over heels, just like in the song. Your dreams will be big, your plans even bigger, and wouldn’t you know, some of those castles in the air will float gently down to the ground.

The month ends with a wonderful new project, person, or pet entering your life. You may even conceive a new project or person – or your pet may. Knowledge you need will arrive out of the blue and all things look beautiful and golden for now.

Your Flower Power Card: Purple Water Lily (Water Nymph)
This essence speaks of growing awareness, of bridging the material with the spiritual. This card confirms your visions of beauty and wisdom, your insights into the mysterious and your growing awareness of your true self.

Scorpio

Quick! Grab your friend Virgo to help you begin healthy new habits, and your friend Libra to start something new and amazing.

March begins with you taking off the rose-tinted glasses and recognising the past for what is it is – the past. You can’t live with it, and you can live without it. Time to give it a respectful nod and move on.

Mid-month has you joining friend Virgo in throwing off old shackles and habits and cultivating a happy mind, body and spirit. If you need some support through this daunting undertaking you’ll have shoulders to lean on and help pick you up again should you fall. Camping is not a good idea for you this month, especially if you’re allergic to bees and wasps.

March comes to an end with a fun new project, person or pet entering your life. You may also catch the eye of someone very special if you’re single in love, or the eye of a generous client if you’re in the arts. Whatever it is, you’ll feel happier, healthier and luckier than you have in months.

Your Flower Power Card: Lavender (Archangel Raphael)
This essence speaks of cleansing and healing of your body, mind and soul. It confirms your decision to live a healthier lifestyle and that you will indeed have spiritual as well as material support in your quest to heal and uplift yourself. Your stresses will be washed away and you’ll feel light-hearted.

Sagittarius

Courage lost will be found as events move fast this month.

The month begins with you feeling like the Lion from Oz. It could be worse, you could feel like the Tin Man. You’ll have to dig deep to find your courage to move forward, and possibly shed a few long-held beliefs about yourself along the way. Take care of yourself and hydrate well.

Mid March sees your most dreaded obstacle removed and some old ties cut. This may be your actual workday tie if you decide to move on to another job or career. If this is the case, you can always re-purpose those ties as headbands.
You may be giving up on what seems like a royal position to others in exchange for something more mundane. But the financial benefits and stability are more in line with what you really need just now.

The month ends with your intuition and spirituality in top-gear. You may begin remembering past-life or early-life experiences to help you make sense of your more recent life events. You spot cycles easily and your self-growth will expand in leaps and bounds. The full moon has a special gift for you. And if you’re single and unattached, you may dream of your soul-mate or future spouse. That said, internet dating doesn’t go well for you; being close to water does, especially the ocean or a large sea.

Your Flower Power Card: Bleeding Heart (Chiron – The Wounded Healer)
This essence brings healing with unconditional love, along with good health and well-being. This card encourages you to release those past life, early childhood hurts and emotional wounds and suffering. It highlights the offers of unconditional love in your life and asks if you’re now ready to both receive and give it. I feel this card is talking especially to servicemen and women wounded while on duty, as well as those who faced abandonment by their parents or other care-givers. If you’re so inclined, work with Archangels Michael and Raphael, and spend time with large pets, especially dogs and horses.

Capricorn

Unpredictable events may throw your plans off kilter. Seek balance this month.

March begins with some inflammation, in mind and in body. A fire sign is stoking an aggravating situation. It may be a temperamental fire-sign at home, or an aggrieved one at work. Do your best to cool matters by being firm and unflappable. Drink lots of water, especially if you’re on medication for a swollen ankle or knee, and watch out for arthritic conditions flaring up this month. Go easy on the medication and experiment with natural remedies where possible.

Mid-month brings a sense of missing something or someone you love. Distance from your beloved may seem greater than ever, and you’ll spend a lot of time on the phone. Their health may concern you and you’re frustrated you can’t nurse them or support them further.

The month ends with a feeling of lack of creativity and loss of balance in your life. Work may be stressful with the load you have to carry, and some added responsibility. You’ll feel the urge to create something – what, how and when is causing you to fret. Chill, and give yourself some time-off to get your mojo back.

Your Flower Power Card: Orchid (Pan, God of Wild Nature)
The essence of this card speaks of seeking your passion and expressing it in a healthy, harmonious way. This card encourages you to attune with your deepest desires (and sexuality). Follow your instincts and explore your greatest passions. Allow this energy to recharge your creativity and vitality.

Aquarius

A month of detoxing everything, from your iPhone to your cupboards.

The month begins with some communication errors and possible misunderstandings. Bad weather may impact your international communications and music wouldn’t soothe the troubled beast this raises in you. You may have a week or two of do-overs which annoy you at best. Put in that extra hour or two to meet your deadline. There’s better times coming real soon.

Mid March has you in detox overdrive. Something someone says will needle you into throwing out old things, new things never used and other things which nibble away at your time. You’ll try detoxing concoctions and perhaps a massage or two. You may even cut ties with some toxic frenemies.

March ends with a river of new energy flowing your way. You might start a new project or a new business, communication clears up and you’ll be bursting with creative ideas. Your love-life changes gear too, pleasantly surprising you.

Your Flower Power Card: Rose (Queen Of Heaven, Mother of the World)
This essence speaks of cosmic love and manifested/manifesting love. This card encourages you to accept cosmic love and wisdom. It highlights your relationship to your twin-flame and to the world in general. If you are seeking your twin-flame or soul-mate, it encourages you to manifest and maintain these relationships wisely. If you are already in couple, it guides you to greater spiritual union with your beloved.

Happy New Year!

It’s a great start to the year for Taurus and Gemini. Read on for all the details.

*only for entertainment purposes

Capricorn

You’ve got everything in hand this month along with some great new beginnings!

The month starts off with you feeling really quite competent and in control of what seems like chaos to very one else. You’ll be the one everyone turns to for direction, advice and inspiration. Money is there, but not always readily available. This is a good thing as you might overspend at the beginning of the month otherwise.

The middle of the month may bring the release of a contract which has been impeding you, or the renewal of one more in your favor. Any heaviness of spirit you may have felt earlier in the month will disappear. If you’ve been searching for a new job, you’re likely to find one before the month ends.

The last third of the month holds some wonderful news. You might win an art raffle of some other small and slightly embarrassing prize, which nevertheless will have you smiling. You might also receive long awaited news about love and new creative projects. One thing’s for sure, whatever the news is, it will make 2017 seem like one of your best years already.

Aquarius

A bit of a dour start to the month. There might be lots of harsh words flying around, bad judgements and more accusations about lack of responsibility. That success which was almost within reach has shifted a little away…

The first part of the month may bring some legal or career problems. Laws and legislation will be causing you much stress, and your new boss might be very, very demanding of your time. He/She really does not know the meaning of: ‘just give me a break’. Arguments with your spouse or ex may also bring up issues which should have long been dealt with. This is what running away brings you. Take note and resolve to not let domestic issues slide as you’ve done in the past.

Mid-month brings back your self-confidence and teaches you more about boundaries – if they are too lax, too strong or just right. You might want to shift some of those boundaries, especially related to your time as someone or something may be taking advantage of your time.

The month ends on a slightly brighter note. Hard-to-please boss might actually compliment you on your job or offer you an unexpected opportunity you’ve long been waiting for. This is all good, but don’t expect it to be a bed of roses as there’s much hard work to do, and if there’s a change in location, it may well be to a place where the sun don’t shine much.

Be brave, you’ve got this.

Pisces

You’re still clearing out much of the old, and haven’t really noticed that it’s a new year energetically. The last of 2016’s business and issues are still a concern, but you can just about see the end of the pile of stuff you’ve got to get through.

The month begins with a feeling of being ignored or left-out of things. You may feel like your partner is ignoring you or that nobody minds what you say…And then you’ll receive a surprise gift – a new dress or shirt which proves otherwise. There might also be a surprise party or a treat which soothes your soul and makes you a little wistful.

Around mid-month you’ll be in a much better space mentally. All the drama and trauma of 2016 and will no longer affect you or bring you down. You’ll be able to speak frankly about matters which are concerning you, and you’ll stop retreating from confrontations you may have feared. Things wouldn’t be half as daunting as you thought they’d be.

As you get to the end of the month, you’ll be able to breathe a sigh of relief. Your greatest efforts from over the last ten weeks will begin to bear fruit and you can toast yourself on a job well done. You might also pay off a small debt (in money or in kind) and will finally feel that a new year has begun.

Aries

Okay, so your big dreams didn’t materialise as you’d hope. Time to let that go and focus on the more mundane as the new year begins. There’s some hope for later in the year, but for now, you’ve got to get your energy levels up again.

As the month begins, you find yourself in more cheerful waters. Whatever or whoever was bringing you down no longer has you doubting yourself. Your mind is clearer even if the weather is not.

Towards mid-month and just after, you may feel a little rebellious at work. You don’t want the same office as last year, you don’t want the same parking space as last year, you so don’t want last year… But be reasonable, you still have some chaff to sift through before you can find the metaphorical gold you seek. And you have to admit you’re much better off than Chad next door. Bide your time, it’s coming.

The month comes to an end with some success. You may find you’re accepted into a fellowship or program you hadn’t thought you stood a chance of gaining entrance into, or you start planning and gathering the elements for that great business idea you’ve had.

Bide your time. It’s coming.

Taurus

Aww, Taurus, you have like the best start to the year! Someone loves you very, very much and is trying to find the best way to show this. Not that there aren’t any challenges this month, but they’ll pale into insignificance with all the good stuff going on.

The new year begins with you looking and feeling great! Lots of compliments come your way and children and animals adore you. So if you’re allergic to either, you’ll want to carry some anti-histamines. You’ll also feel very respected and may even be given the royal treatment. Perhaps someone is taking you out for a high-tea!

Around mid-month you’ll have your first challenge and opportunity of the year. Some deliberation is called for, so please don’t be too impulsive. Neither should you delay the decision too long. Timing is critical so follow your intuition, weigh it together with the facts and shake your lucky dice just to be sure. Don’t let others influence you unduly. A misstep now may lose you more time and face than you can comfortably afford just now.

As January draws to an end, you might have to fight for your rights and find yourself justifying your decisions. This doesn’t make your decisions wrong, just hard for some to digest. So you may no longer be the most popular person in the office, but that’s okay if the work is getting done in time. Yes, this will go on your permanent record, and in a good way.

Be strong, but not too stubborn. Let the other person be heard as well.

Gemini

A better start to the year than you would have believed a few weeks ago. You, too, will be Mr/Ms Popular, drawing lots of admiration. Pity you may not notice it all as you’re so stuck into your studies and projects. And that thing/person you’re pursuing (yes that one) is almost within your grasp.

The new year brings an abundance of good stuff your way – new clothes, new shoes, new look and lots of treats with family and friends. You’ll steal any show without even trying, so beware the green-eyed ones…not that you’ll notice as you attention is on that thing/person you’re pursuing (yes, that one).

Around mid-month, studies and money turn serious and consume almost all your attention. It’s a good time for research as you’re in the mood to dig, and dig deep to get all the information and knowledge you need. And what you unearth will bring you satisfaction. If archaeology is your new passion, you may well discover something remarkable which will occupy you for years to come.
Pets (especially dogs) will also be in a digging mood, so fence off your prized veggie-patch carefully.

The month comes to an end with you in a stronger position than you’d hope to be. Your vitality will be high, and your presentations will go well. Others will look to you for leadership. Health will be good as well. It’s a great start to the year!

Cancer

Darn it! Why do the goal posts keep moving for you? While the year begins on a sociable note, the rest of the month calls on more personal resources than you may be willing to give.

The new year brings new friends, lots of gathering (some virtual) and perhaps a love message from a fire sign. You may also find a new way of communicating – joining a new social media platform or a new sports or social club. It’s also a good time to complete creative projects. Internet dating will also go well.

Around mid-month your beliefs may shock others, or you may experience a mild shock, probably related to a family member. Your world will change, but not in a violent way. Perhaps you’ll get news of a parent’s health problem or your project may be delayed, or you may finally get that scholarship or work visa you’ve been hankering after for ages, or that real cutie may actually notice you exist! Not all shocks are bad, but why now, just when you’re so comfortable? Darn it!

The month ends with some breathing space. Your dream may be slightly delayed till the end of February, giving you ample time to digest the news, and make plans and preparations. It’s an exciting start to the year so get as much sleep and me-time as you can.

Leo

Poor Leo, why are you starting the year with such a frownie-face. Never mind, things will get sexy for a while, and then you’ll have to return to the drawing board if you really want to realise your dreams this year.

The year begins with a larger tummy and maybe hitting the gym will be a good idea. Your romantic partner/spouse will be very attentive and demanding, and neither of you will want to leave the Build-It store, the furniture store, the new car-dealership, the January clothing sales…Yes, things are important to you this year, and you’re determined to get them.

Mid-month jolts you into second gear with a challenge. It may seem unsolvable at first. Once you stop ranting and raving, you’ll be able to see a way through, but perhaps not using your usual methods. Take this new idea to the boss/client and be surprised at their reaction.

The month ends with your frownie-face turning shifty-eyed. Someone (could it possibly be you?) is not being quite straight with everyone. This may just be your paranoia, but it’s a good idea to upgrade your internet security and anti-virus too. And no, you don’t do shifty-eyed very well. Go back to frownie-face and you’ll get to the bottom of things much faster.

Virgo

An unsettling start to the year. You may feel that something’s missing from your life just now, and begin exploring less traditional concepts in religion and study. You’ll also want to renovate or decorate this month.

The year begins with the feeling that a vital part of your life is missing or inactive. Is it a romantic partner, children or the feeling that you aren’t following your true life path? Reunions are harder to arrange this month, and finding time to catch up with old friends will prove more difficult than expected. Mostly though, you’ll be craving a romantic partner if single, or more time with your beloved if not.

Mid-month has you looking at less traditional beliefs and ways of getting things done. You may innovate or otherwise recycle old ideas and items, perhaps at the displeasure of more traditional thinkers. You’ll also consider a less traditional relationship, perhaps with someone who has very different religious beliefs to you.

The end of the month brings much dissatisfaction with your immediate environment. You might have new cupboards or cabinets put in, or throw out old and worn furniture to revamp your home. You’ll have lots of fun mixing and matching styles, and will try out different styles and feels around your home to find one you’re most comfortable with. So don’t stress, experiment.

Libra

An emotional month for you may bring an overwhelm just when you thought the fun would start.

The year begins with a yearning for someone’s attention, perhaps someone who is quite far from you distance-wise. You’ll be looking for missed opportunities and second chances, or perhaps giving one yourself. You’d like to comfort someone who seems to be hurting, but you don’t want to step over any boundaries either. Your intuition is right; give this person some space, but let them know you’re there for them as well.

By mid-month you might suffer a crisis of faith – perhaps in yourself. You may be spreading yourself a little too thin, and so may have bitten off more than you can chew. Yes, it’s good to be there for others, to be the shoulder everyone needs to cry on, but you too need some space — some breathing and centering time — so be sure to not short-change yourself this month.

Towards the end of the month, you may be inundated with memories, both sweet and sour. Deal with any emotions this brings up by reaffirming your present and your commitment to your future. You can sense your life is changing for the better, and these are the old ghosts saying goodbye. By mid February, you’ll be easily ensconced into your new life and no longer troubled by past issues or regrets.

Scorpio

‘So close yet so far’, that’s what may be your mantra this month as Mercury retrograde plays awful tricks on you. It’s only because you been asking for a massive change, and all this bother is now preparing you for it.

You may have to act quickly to avoid a bad situation. Be careful when driving and remember to always wear your seat-belt. There are shuffles and quick-steps at work as well. A new boss or a take-over doesn’t help things run as smoothly as usual. Storms will also unsettle you and possibly give you reason to reconsider your home, your transport or your communication devices.

Mid-month brings lots of missed or misunderstood communications. Your spam folder will be unusually fill with really important messages you may be waiting on for days. You partner may not understand what you’re saying either, so double-check that everyone is on the same page.

The month ends with a celebration you really don’t want to attend. It’s a new year, but the conversation is old, the food is the same and your boredom is becoming so obvious that it borders on the impolite. Stay at home and play a computer game or watch a new movie you’d never consider watching otherwise. It’s less sociable, but it may save a friendship or two.

Sagittarius

So you’re feeling a little stranded, marooned even. Hardly the fun, exciting start to the year you’d been so looking forward to, but at least you’re forced to stand still and reflect for a few moments…or days.

The year begins with a sense of stagnation, or even resentment at having to take a step or two backwards. It’s not a good idea to push for anything, make new travel arrangements, or try new methods of communication. It feels very much like you’re stuck in transit, sitting in traffic or lost a map. Chill and enjoy being a passenger. Wind down the window and smell the roses (or car fumes). It will remind you how much you have that you can be grateful for.

Around mid-month, you may realise that your cherished wish is going to be delayed again. Something’s not quite as perfect as you’d wish it be, and if you’re getting engaged, the jeweler has made a rather large mistake with the ring. Or, you may be waiting on others who just don’t have the same sense of urgency as you do.

The month comes to an end with more settled feelings. The heartache is healed. Your anger has died down, your sense of urgency is put into perspective, and you can be your own amiable self again. And while it may look like your passion is diminished, it’s merely simmered down waiting to energise you later in the year.

Tarotscope: December 2016

by Leenna
#writerstarot

So this is what the cards told me about December for each zodiac sign*. Aries, you’ll want to pay special attention.

Sagittarius:

At the beginning of the month, there’ll be lots of electronic communication, especially from global companies and overseas. Pay attention to what is being said and take the time to thoroughly understand what is required or requested. This will pay off in nine weeks or so. Gossip also provides some interesting insights and ideas.

Generosity abounds from friends and family. While cash bonuses from work may be smaller than usual, other gifts and benefits will prove equally valuable. There will be more than enough good cheer and an abundance of friendship, and even a prize or two.

Towards the end of the month, one party or celebration will be more tiresome than fun (because you’re tired) and one person spoils the mood with their negativity and callousness (an older woman with one glass too many). Try not to take her words to heart as everyone knows the truth even if they don’t speak of it. A good rest (and some distance) provides the best tonic against this energy-vampire.

Sleep into the New Year, you need it after these past two months!

Capricorn:

A slow and less than perfect start to the month makes you think wishes come true only for others. Keep wishing and stay positive as it’s only delayed.

A small matter grows out of proportion and impacts on your feelings of security. Be especially careful when locking your car-doors at the mall and carry a small-hard cover book in your bag for self-protection. It should prove useful in other ways too. If you live/work in a snow-prone area, be sure to travel with a small emergency/survival kit as unexpectedly snowfalls in unlikely areas may cause major traffic/transport problems.

The last third of the month makes up for the first two thirds. Happiness from little children, pets and new projects. This is the perfect time to start your blog or a new creative project. Pottery or fishing could well be your newest passion!

Aquarius:

Going for that new job interview or performance review goes well at the beginning of the month. You have the gift of the gab and the ability to make magic out of piles of what looks like rubbish to everyone else – both literally and figuratively!

The middle of the month seems to rehash the same old tired plans and arguments. Going on that world-cruise is still not going to happen, no matter how many Lotto tickets you buy before Christmas. Be realistic and think out the box.

Taking the traditional approach for the end of the month may be your best bet! It’s also the perfect time to take up new studies, or do some family-tree research.

Pisces:

Look back to six months ago to find the root of your current problems. Running away again is just going to make things worst. It’s time to sit tight and think things through logically. Ask for help from someone you trust and is good at problem-solving.

Investing in property or going to the sea for your holidays isn’t such a good idea for now. Don’t make last minute bookings. Don’t make promises you can’t keep either. Stay at home and remain on the straight and true path. It may be slower, but it’s a whole lot  less hassle and trouble in the long run.

The end of the month looks much brighter and less stressful. More clarity brings you more optimism and a well defined way to overcome your biggest obstacles.

Foil is your friend this festive season, especially when making new toys for the kids in your life and in decorations. Keep your eyes open in the rain and you’ll find a bargain store offering more than you’ll ever need of this wonderful shiny stuff.

Aries:

Lucky you! All the other signs are going to be so envious of your first part of December. Either an overseas trip or new long-distance relationship for you is what turns all your friends green. All goes well, unless it’s a Gemini or Aquarian you’re dealing with. If so, you’re need to think things through a little more (just a little bit more than usual) as your companion is not the most stable of personalities. I’m sorry if you heard wedding bells ring or similar at first, but seriously, caution is warranted here.

Repeat after me: impulsiveness is not my friend – at least not until February. In fact, impulsiveness is not even your frenemy just now. It’s a psycho wielding a knife ready to poke holes in your finances, your love-life and your reputation.

Sit back, chill and repeat after me: impulsiveness is not my friend.

And that dream you’ve been hoping for…no news till after February. But keep dreaming, it will happen in a slow steady way.

Taurus:

Oh, the injustice of it! Everyone else gets to have a proper break and you’re stuck manning the office again. Oh, what an awful boss, unreasonable so-and-so leaving you only a small box of plasticky chocolates for company! So, yes! Re-read your contract, and look at those job-boards. But know it will be the same thing all over again next year if you don’t actually act this time.

Spruce up your CV and strike while the sense of injustice drives you. You may not end up on the beach next year, but, by god, you’ll have a better view and better box of chocs to help you through this time of year.

Legal matters are best sat on for the moment too. Your lawyers and other legal types are not very impressed with your arguments and assertions of late, so best wait till February or defer to the end of May if possible.

Still not going to be your favourite month, come the end of it. More arguments with your brother/brother-in-law and general feelings of not living the life you want to. Yes, you deserve better. And now, (yes, right this minute) is the time to do something about it – find a coaching program, join a new club, start something new…So, for once in your life, don’t over-think, don’t even calculate, just do it! I dare you.

Gemini:

Congrats, Gem, you’ve finally found that balance you’ve been looking for, and it’s pets and kids who help you there.

At the beginning of the month, a new project starts of strong and hits it’s mark. Ideas flow like a stream, so take notes and make sketches; you’ll need them early next year when you run ahead of yourself again.

Travel to the mountains/hills or to a warmer area gets you out into that fresh air you’ve been craving. Don’t forget the sunblock (and the snow-boots, two trips for you then? Or a last minute getaway?) Watch your ankles and straps when doing outdoor activities and you’ll be happier overall.

The end of the month is quieter and cosier with lots of welcome alone-time. A great time to recharge and consolidate your ideas and position. Also a good time to consider what you’d like to study next. Something in finances or earth sciences?

Cancer:

Grab your Sagi friend and celebrate all the generosity coming your way at the beginning of the month. It’s exactly what you’ve been waiting for, for so long. It’s likely that all this bounty may include a pregnancy if you’ve been hoping for one, or a really valuable gift or prize.

Problem is, for most of the month, the restlessness that you’ve been experiencing for the past two months doesn’t abate. It’s got you questioning all kinds of things about your life and the people around you. You want something new. You need something new and meaningful in your life. If you’re having a child, congratulations – if not, you might want to stop for a minute and do some inner searching to see just what it really is your soul craves for now.

By the end of the month, your intuition is on the blitz, so try not to depend on it as much as usual. Double-check facts, dates, amounts, and print out maps and itineraries.

Leo:

Love and togetherness is the theme for the first half of the month. You may even visit overseas or cross the continent to visit family. The early part of the month is perfect for rekindling romance and spending quality time with those you love most, especially near the ocean or other large bodies of water.

Like Sagi, there’s a lot of business communication from global concerns right until December 21-23 around the solstice, so make sure your phone and laptop are always charged. After the 23rd, you’ll be in a much better position than expected, but still a little short of where you’d hoped to be.

At the end of the month, you’ll probably lose at snooker and other little games, but in the main events of your life, everything makes you feel you’ve gained major victories and will win through quite soon to what matters the most to you.

The last week of the month is best for indoor activities with inclement weather putting a damper on outside activities. Don’t book days out too far in advance. The weather dictates your plans for New Year’s Eve more than it usually does. Be prepared for torrential rains if you live in the Southern hemisphere, heavy snow in Northern Europe and even in some mountainous areas of Spain.

Virgo:

Good news finally arrives at the beginning of the month. The world seems beautiful and magical again with much to lift your spirits and believe in the goodness of humankind.

The middle of the month is great for interviews and finding ways to realise your dreams. There’s not much you can’t do in mid-December, and even Santa is envious of your productivity and management. Your staff will be happy and your pockets look like filled stockings.

With all gears well oiled and things rolling out just the way you like them, the end of the month is when you’ll finally want to let your hair down and be noticed by someone special.

Shopping around the 20th is likely to find you your best party clothes and even the salon will be able to squeeze you in at the last minute. Don’t forget to try a new fragrance and see how many heads you can turn.

Libra:

Lightness returns this December, along with that precious spark of creativity you lost a month back. Go shopping with Virgo as you, too, will be spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping and looking good this month. Paint, draw and even try some needlework — you have an eye for the unusual and the striking when it comes to your hobbies and crafts this month.

The middle of the month is when you’ll finally let go of nostalgia and some past issues. Things look even brighter as you begin to live in the present and enjoy it without comparing it to the past.

The lightening of your mood and outlook continues right to the end of the month when you stop feeling guilty and realise you deserve all the good and light you’re experiencing. Your smile will be uncomplicated, you laughter unchecked and others’ negativity will fall off you as old restraints are unbuckled and you’re free to enjoy an amazing New Year.

Scorpio:

You know that change you’ve been hoping for? Yep, it’s likely to happen real soon, just like you knew it would. And it’s all very, very likely for the first part of the month.

But put your ambition on hold or turn it down a notch. Your real goal is still going to take a wee while to reach and a lot has to happen before it does.

Pay particular attention to your car’s tyres and brakes, as well as the water and oil levels – even for short journeys this month, the last thing you need is to be stuck on the highway. Oh, and it’s not the best time to buy a new car either. July next year is more in your favour for new vehicles and transportation.

The end of the month brings in some heavier issues, especially around older family members and another Scorpio. Old family secrets and outdated beliefs rear their ugly heads and have it out in the open. Avoid the Dark Side (or taking any side) at all costs and put away those light-sabres. Time-out and digestion time is all that is needed for everyone to adjust to the true situation, and to move into the 2017 with more realistic views and expectations.
