Gratitude and exciting news!

It’s been a really amazing start of the year, except for a little heaviness in January. But time’s been a quite scarce so I’ve not gotten around to sharing and thanking people as I had wanted.

So here goes.

I’m truly grateful for, and my blog thanks, the following for nominations:
Mliae at LifeexperimentBlog for the Versatile Blogger Award and Blogger Recognition awards. It’s awesome to have received two such nominations from a blogger I admire and have great conversations with.
Visakha at Wordly Words for the Epically Awesome Blog award, which is just epically awesome, like Visakha:)
And to Jessica at EllDimensionally for the quotes challenge. It’s accepted, but I’m going to take my time with it:)

My apologies for taking so long to respond here. And please, please bear with me a little longer. I aim to respond each week with one or two award or challenge posts.

I’m also truly excited to share the news that two(!) of my short (flashfic) stories have been accepted by two very different magazines.

Cosmic Roots and Eldritch Shores, a newly launched magazine, has bought Out of Brambles, and plan to publish it later this month.
Sci Phi Journal, where philosophy is as important as the science-fiction, has accepted Unalienable Right, and plans to publish it towards the middle of this year.
Both are subscription magazines which aim to pay us writers as well as subscribers allow, so if you like sci-fi and /or fantasy, and like discussing the philosophical and other aspects of what you’ve read, you might consider supporting one or both magazines.

I haven’t forgotten about the book reviews either. I have some interesting ones to catch up on, and hopefully, will begin posting them weekly in March again.

Last, but not least, I’m truly grateful to my readers and followers for all your support and comments. It’s great to know this blog does not exist in a vacuum! I’m also looking forward to catching up on all your great posts which I’ve missed.
